Every organisation needs an advocate
I help businesses and leadership teams articulate who they are, developing clear, consistent narratives that align strategy, purpose and reputation.
My work is grounded in Corporate Advocacy, integrating communications into executive decision-making to support leadership, reputation and long-term growth.
My approach, what I call Corporate Advocacy, is the strategic leadership discipline that integrates narrative, risk, reputation, policy and communications into the core of executive decision-making. It ensures that communications does not simply describe the organisation: it shapes it.
I’m an international corporate affairs professional and lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience helping organisations define and communicate who they are.
My work is grounded in the belief that communications should sit within decision-making, not outside it. When positioned at the executive table, it becomes a discipline that informs strategy, strengthens reputation and anticipates risk. Corporate Advocacy treats narrative not as an output, but as a guiding principle for leadership.
I’ve worked across the energy, industrial and resources sectors, including nuclear, renewables, metals, mining and critical raw materials, in both in-house and agency roles. I’ve led pan-European campaigns, supported executives through major transformations, and helped organisations engage effectively with political, media and internal stakeholders.
A British, French and Canadian citizen, bilingual in English and French, I bring analytical rigour, composure and foresight to the intersection of strategy, policy and public perception.
Whether as an advisor, fractional communications leader or permanent executive, my goal is to help organisations build advocacy and trust, anticipating risk, aligning leadership and communicating with confidence in a changing world.
Jonathan Levy is a corporate advocate specialising in strategic communications, reputation leadership and executive advisory across regulated and technology-led sectors.
